    call not being put through

hi. I am very new to this, and have only just installed the software on my n95. I am working in egypt and want to make calls back home (to uk mobiles and landlines) using my mobile on my company wireless network. I have installed the onephone software and have it running i think correctly. I go to make a call as normal and it is phoned through the software. But then nothing. I have the 'calling person' symbol in the middle of the phone but hear nothing. No ringing tone, nothing at all no matter what.

i have just checked my account and my credit has been reduced, so the call is obviously being made, although i near nothing on my phone. I have checked by making a normal call to make sure that it isnt something silly like my phone volume being set low! Any ideas what is wrong?

Re: call not being put through

...to add to my confusion, i have just recieved a call from the person i have been trying to get in contact with to test this service who says they recieved the calls, and picked up the phone each time i tried to ring but, like me could hear nothing on the line. Also, another little problem i have which is probably unrelated.. When i am trying to make a call, but then try to hang up, i cant. I try the red button and also clicking options, hang up but still nothing. The call is only cancelled by me clicking options, exit. Any help? Cheers.

    Hi,

Thanks for your post. It appears that you are doing everything correctly as your account is being debited for the call. Can i just confirm that the oneFone icon is showing green and connected? Also in Advanced settings Low Bandwidth Codec should be set to "No" for WLAN. Is this issue where you cannot hear anyone consistent or have you tested calling other numbers?

Also if you wish to email support@wifimobile.com i can give you a UK number to call me to test.

    Kind regards

    Dean (WiFiMobile)
