Q: What is Wi-Fi?
A: Wi-Fi is short for “wireless fidelity” and has

Many airports, hotels and other services offer public access to Wi-Fi
networks so people can log on to the Internet and receive emails on the
move. These locations are known as hotspots.
Q: What is VoIP?
A: VoIP is short for “Voice
over Internet Protocol”, a technology for transmitting ordinary telephone
calls over the Internet using packet-linked routes. Also known as IP
telephony.
Q: What sort of Internet connection will
I need at home?
A: You will require a Broadband package.

A: Well as long as both of you are in connection of a

An unlimited data plan would not incur any charges for this type of call.

service for free?
A: Enter their SIP address as the calling number
Q: Will this service work abroad?
A: Most certainly as long as you have an Access Point.
Q: What is a Wi-Fi Hotspot and where can
I find them?
A: A Wi-Fi Hotspot is a public used place enabling
Internet connection with a WiFi enabled device such as a notebook computer
and of course your mobile phone. Some Hotspots offer open free connection
and some will require a user name and password. These are becoming very
commonplace worldwide in places such as hotels, airports, railway stations,
coffee shops, public houses and restaurants. There are many websites that
list these such as
www.myhotspots.co.uk or www.jiwire.com.
Q: Can I make emergency calls?
A: Not through our Wi-Fi enabled service but
you can still make emergency calls with oneFone open as it will
automatically route through your GSM network operator.
Tell everyone about WiFiMobile
and you can all talk for free!
